Mike: This whole triathlon/endurance thing actually started back in the summer of 2006 when I did my first triathlon. It was a super low-key sprint in my hometown of Freeport, Il. I began exercising more and eating better on my way to losing about 55 pounds. Since then I have continued my quest for living healthy. Now my goal is to not only finish Ironman Wisconsin in 2012, but to have a competitive time as well. It is not always easy, but it wouldn't be nearly as rewarding if it was.
